ROCK TRAIL COALITION, organized in 1992, advocates for development of hiking
and biking trails in Rock County, Wisconsin.
Rock Trail Coalition membership is annual from January through December with
a basic individual membership at $15; family $25; and with t-shirt is $30.
Program meetings are generally every other month on the
3rd Thursday at 6:30
p.m. at Janesville’s Rock County Job Center, 1900 Center Avenue (Highway 51
south), Janesville, alternating months with outings and trail work.
Trail Development
in 2006 the City of Janesville extended the bike trail system to Tripp
Road south of Janesville. This extends the Rock River Parkway by
another 1.5 miles.

February 21,
Speaker Meeting: Mike
Hardy discusses new trail and bike route proposals connecting Janesville,
Milton, Edgerton, Stoughton, Madison, Rock County Job Center, 6:30 p.m.

February 23 Hike,
Snow shoe or Ski - join us to explore newly brushed rail bed, part
of the Janesville-Beloit trail project. We will meet at the EauClaire/S.River
Road bridge and hike, ski or snowshoe into Afton for coffee at the Afton
Cafe Espresso. Parking at the bridge is quite limited so please car
pool if possible.

Trails Day - join our friends at Rock County Ice Age Trail chapter for long
or short hike in celebration of National Trails Day. Dedication of Devil's
Staircase IAT segment.
