Ice Age Mammoth Walk.
Members and friends walk sections of the Rock County trail including the
road connectors. Together we hike the entire 53 miles! (but none of walk the
whole thing), Call 756*1832 or email

as little or as much as you would like.

Devil's Staircase
Segment
The Devil's Staircase Segment starts at
the north end of Janesville's Riverside Park. You won't believe you are in
the city on this beautiful, peaceful and scenic hike.
In 2007 the Ice Age Trail Mobile Skills
Crew, a core group of about 35 trained volunteers, built a technically
difficult trail through the Devil's Staircase area going west out of
Janesville. Locally 180 volunteers turned out and did a fantastic job in a
very tough project. The Mobile Skills Crew returned at the end of October
and finished the trail through the staircase. The next step is connecting it
to the Janesville Arboretum, two miles west. Stay tuned.
